Cheese and black currant brownies

Brownies

  • 70g of frozen black currants
  • 360g of 75% black chocolate pastilles
  • 370g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ pound of butter
  • 300g all use flour
  • A pinch of salt

Cheese cake

  • 750g of cream cheese
  • 115g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 185ml of black currant jam

Étapes :

Brownies

  • Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie
  • Beat the butter into cream, add the sugar, the eggs, the flour and the salt
  • Fold in the melted chocolate and mix until smooth
  • Pour into a greased and lightly floured mould
  • Sprinkle with the frozen black currant berries

Cheese cake

  • Mix the cheese, the sugar and the eggs
  • Pour over the brownie mix
  • On the surface, draw stripes with the black currant jam and use a knife the create a marbled effect
  • Cook at 350°F for about 35 minutes (or until surface is golden brown)
  • Serve with ice cream and black currant sirup
