Grilled nuts & dried black currants

Yield : 8 portions


  • 7ml of cari powder
  • 7ml of white sugar
  • 2ml of salt
  • 1ml of Cayenne pepper
  • 40ml of olive oil
  • 400ml of whole almonds
  • 400ml of blanched cashew nuts
  • 100ml of dried black currants

Étapes :

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • In a big bowl, mix the spices and the oil
  • Fold in the nuts and continue mixing to completely coat them with the seasoning
  • Cover a baking tray with parchemin paper and spread the nuts in one even layer
  • Roast in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden
  • Take out of the oven and mix in the dried black currant berries
  • Check seasoning and serve warm
